2016 UTME e-REGISTRATION IS OUT

The instructions provided on this site (www.jamb.org.ng) will guide you to fill the registration form. Make sure you understand every step in the instruction before filling.

Candidates are strongly advised to study the Brochure  carefully before proceeding to fill the registration form. This is to avoid making mistakes in filling the form.

The Sign In module enables you to validate your PIN and allows you to supply your basic personal details including biometrics and Passport Photograph. Note that your Biometrics, Passport Photograph and other Registration details can be captured online or offline. These details shall be verified on first visit (Sign-In) and shall not be required subsequently.

Note that you are liable for misplacement of your card as your details can be accessed by someone else if found. YOU ARE ADVISED TO KEEP YOUR SCRATCH CARD.

On successful Sign-In, you shall be redirected to the registration page, if you have not registered. If your complete registration details including your Examination Town were captured offline, these shall be loaded for re-verification. The only Test option available is (Computer Based Test) which can be selected during offline registration and also available online. If you have otherwise submitted your form, you shall be redirected to the home page  so that you can have access to other facilities on your profile.

Please note that on the Registration form, the red asterics (*) appearing besides some text boxes of the forms is an indication that the option is compulsory and must be filled with valid data.

Note that you cannot change your Exam Town after you have submitted your form.

Note also that Multiple Registration is not allowed and may be punished.

After filling the form, on the confirmation Page, you will see Discard and Submit buttons.

Clicking the Discard button means you still have intention to re-visit your form and may make further changes. Note that your form gets to JAMB ONLY when you click on Submit button. On submission, you shall be redirected to Registration Slip page for printing.

Note: If you did not submit your form before the close of registration, your entry is forfeited.

Application are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Full-Time diploma Programmes for the 2015/2016 academic session. 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The General University Admission Requirements that apply uniformly across the faculties as well as the Specific Faculty Admission Requirements are displayed on the University websites: https://uniben.waeup.org or uniben.edu to qualify for the entrance examinations into the various part-time degree programmes, candidate must satisfy the stated general and specific requirements for admission. 

METHOD OF APPLICATION

All applications should be done between Friday 11th September 2015 and 30th November, 2015. 

The procedure for application is as follows: 

1.  Visit www.uniben.edu Or uniben.waeup.org
2. Candidates are advised to have a valid e-mail account before starting the application process (not the cyber-cafe’s mail).
3. Click on PART-TIME Degree Programmes, 2015/2016
4. Click on Register for application at the top left of the displayed page to proceed.
5. Provide all necessary information. Note that * means compulsory fields.
6. An immediate mail will be sent to the provided e-mail address.
7. Open your mail to get your system generated ID and Password that you will use to login.
8. On uniben.waeup.org click on 'Login' (top right of the front page).
9. Enter your user name and the password from the mail to login.
10. To start the application process, please click on 'Edit application record' and provide all required information and upload your passport photograph.
11. Upload a clear 1” x 1” COLOURED passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only. NOTE that the photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin.FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE SPECIFIED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUAILIFICATION AND FAILURE/FORFEITURE OF ADMISSION
12. To pay for the Application, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “College Pay” on the top left corner of the page, follow the instruction to pay the application fee with an ATM-Enabled Verve or Master Card from any commercial Bank.
13. Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application on-line.
14. You cannot edit your application after submission.
15. Print out the Application slip.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS

Admission into various programmes shall be through entrance examination to be conducted between 16th of October, and 17th October 2015 from 9 am at ugbowo campus. 

However, there will be no Entrance Examinations for some programmes. Admission into such programmes will be based on the general requirements approved by the Senate. 

** Note that Past Questions for practicing are available for purchase by willing candidates at moderate cost in the Central Entrance Examinations Committee (CEEC) office, Main Auditorium, University of Benin.

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) POST-DIRECT ENTRY Screening Exercise for 2015/2016 Academic Session will take place between 28th October, 2015 and 29th October, 2015 in designated centres within Ugbowo Campus of the University. The Screening Exercise shall be conducted using the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

All candidates are expected to be seated, latest one hour before the stipulated time for the screening exercise.

PLEASE NOTE: Only candidates who applied through JAMB for DIRECT ENTRY Admission and chose University of Benin as First Choice are eligible for this Screening Exercise.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

All applications should be done between Thursday 10th September 2015 and 12:00 Midnight on Thursday, 24th September, 2015.

The procedure for the 2015/2016 POST UDE Entry screening application is as follows:

Candidates are advised to have a valid e-mail account before starting the application process.

1. Visit www.uniben.edu Click on Student Portal
3. Click on POST-UDE Screening Test 2015/2016
4. Click on Register for application at the top left of the displayed page to proceed.
5. Enter your Surname Exactly as written on the JAMB Registration slip, and JAMB Registration number. Immediately, your ID and Password will be displayed on the browser
6. On uniben.waeup.org click on 'Login' (top right of the front page).
7. Enter your username and the password to login.
8. To start the application process, please click on 'Application record' and provide all required information and upload your passport photograph.
9. Upload a Recent and clear 1” x 1” COLOURED passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only. NOTE that the photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin. FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE SPECIFIED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION and failure/forfeitures of admission.
10. To pay for the Application, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “College Pay” on the top left corner of the page, follow the instruction to pay the application fee with an ATM-Enabled Verve or Master Card from any commercial Bank.
11. A link is displayed 'Download past questions to practice'
12. Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application on-line.(No correction will be accepted after the closing date)
13. Print out an acknowledgement slip that contains the screening schedule.

Candidate are to come to the screening centres with the following:

• Acknowledgement slip that contains the screening schedule
• Four figure table (where applicable)
• Writing materials (HB pencil and Eraser).

Candidates should go back on-line on 25th September, 2015 to check for the venue and specific date and time for their Screening

Application website closes by 24TH September, 2015 (i.e. all applications must be concluded online not later than 24th September, 2015). Candidates who pay after the deadline will not sit for the examination.

7.   Enter your Username and the password to login.
8.   To start the application process, please click on ‘Application record’, provide all required information and upload your passport photograph.
9.   Upload a RECENT and CLEAR “1x1” COLOUR PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WITH RED BACKGROUND IN JPEG FORMAT ONLY. NOTE that the photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin. FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE SPECIFIED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION and failure/forfeitures of admission.
